Square Acrylic Voice Note Keepsake

A voice can say what a photograph cannot. The Square Acrylic Voice Note Keepsake turns a recording you love into a solid block of clear cast acrylic: the soundwave of the voice, a photo of the person or moment behind it, and your own words, UV-printed on a 15 mm block you can hold. Point a phone camera at the glyph and the voice plays back.

When a voice is worth keeping

The square shape gives your photo the most room, so it suits the moments you would put in a frame:

• A grandparent's laugh, a parent's lullaby, or a voicemail you have never deleted.
• A baby's first words.
• Wedding vows, an anniversary message or a proposal.
• A gift for someone who lives far away, which they can play whenever they miss you.

How it works

1. Record or upload your audio in the TraceSound studio and turn it into a glyph, a scannable soundwave made from that recording.
2. Choose a size, add a photo if you like, and write a short intro, a title (up to 18 characters) and a line of description (up to 80).
3. Check the live preview. It shows how your keepsake will look before you pay, and nothing is printed until you do.
4. We print it, pack it and send it. Anyone who scans the glyph with a phone camera hears your voice.

If a glyph ever refuses to scan, the QR code along the bottom of the keepsake opens the same recording.

Four sizes, one square block

Sizes are named by their longest side. 4″ (10 cm) is a keepsake for a shelf or a desk, 6″ (15 cm) the all-round gift size, 8″ (20 cm) a piece to display, and 8.5″ (22 cm) the largest, where your photo has the most room. Every size is the same 15 mm clear acrylic; the price follows the area.

Waterproof, fade-resistant, easy to clean

The keepsake is made of clear cast acrylic and UV-printed, so it is waterproof and fade-resistant. To clean it, wipe it with a damp cloth.

Frequently asked questions

What if the glyph will not scan?

The QR code printed along the bottom edge opens the same recording, so your voice is never locked behind a camera that cannot read the glyph.

What photo should I use?

At least 800 × 800 pixels, and the bigger the better: a larger photo prints sharper. You can move and zoom it to choose what is printed, and see the result in the preview before you pay.

Is it waterproof?

Yes. The acrylic and the UV print are waterproof and fade-resistant, and a damp cloth is all it needs to be cleaned.

How long does it take to make?
